I took a pill in Ibiza

Just kidding! That’s the opening line to my favorite song about Ibiza by Mike Posner that sets the scene for the perfect Ibiza experience:

I took a pill in Ibiza
To show Avicii I was cool
And when I finally got sober, felt ten years older
But fuck it, it was something to do
I’m living out in LA
I drive a sports car just to prove
I’m a real big baller ’cause I made a million dollars
And I spend it on girls and shoes

Ibiza is one of the most famous islands on the Mediterranean Sea off the coast of Spain. Its most famous for its vibrant nightlife, electronic music that originated on the island, and for the club scene. The island attracts huge amounts of tourists looking for a few days lazying on the beach and nights of epic parties.

The port in Ibiza Town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The local population is only about 132,000 people, but over 6 million visitors descend upon this small Balearic Island each year to experience its legendary club scene. Ibiza has become iconic for its club culture and beach parties. Here, you can expect to rub shoulders with jet setter celebrities, dance to hot sets from the world’s top DJs and stay up way beyond the spectacular sunsets.

The best time to go to Ibiza is end of May to beginning of October.

Prepare to be humbled as everyone will arrive in their private jet except you…

Ibiza, if you’ve never been there before, is very overwhelming. It’s like nowhere on earth. The best advice is to sleep as late as possible because nothing gets going until around 3am and it goes until like 7 or 8. ~ Paris Hilton

I have been struggling to choose between Ibiza and Mallorca for my trip in August and it seems to me that both are equally beautiful, the only difference is that Ibiza is more of a party destination whereas Mallorca is more relaxed and laid back. I, however, did not expect such lovely hotels in Ibiza, Hard Rock hotel looks like the perfect place to spend some time relaxing, if one doesn’t want to be a part of the crazy party scene. Thanks for this suggestion!

Ooh, now I want to go to Ibiza! I love checking out the Hard Rocks all over the world, so it would be nice to add Ibiza to my list. I’m trying to figure out my summer plans and I think I need to check out this party scene! Oh and that adults-only hotel. I’m sure that’s got to be awesome to not have little kids running around!
