Such is the power of Jay-z and Beyonce on pop culture that when Jay-Z dropped a line on one of my favorite Beyoncé songs ‘Upgrade U’, the Italian Riviera instantly made it onto my travel bucket list!

The Amalfi Coast is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the entire country, plus it is a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. Most people visit for the spectacular views which include the cliffs that seem to drop far down into the sea below.

Those cliffs are also the best place to capture amazing sunrises and sunsets, which is perfect for starting and ending a day on the beach.

HIGH SEASON (June – September) – Rates are lower than the peak season, however, can be a bit crowded

Amalfi Coast has been on my list forever. Going by your advice, I’ll probably go in the offseason when it won’t be that crowded and would be more economical. It’s wonderful to know that you got to stay at a centrally located and equally stunning hotel – Marina Riviera Hotel. Looks like a perfect choice for a place to stay.

I’m seriously drooling over here about the Amalfi Coast! We’ve been to Italy a few times, but haven’t made it to the Amalfi Coast, yet. I love that Beyonce inspired you to visit! That’s awesome! And we also love limoncello!

On my trip to Italy, I did make it to Capri Island but not Amalfi coast and when I look back and think about why I just don’t know! All your pictures are lovely and you look really nice. Chilling on the beach and enjoying those lovely views of the colourful houses over the cliff, jutting into the sea, must be such a relaxing and amazing feeling!
